- It's not a wrong description, i'm using the first paragraph, it's only a problem of the site.
The goal of Instant views is to parse websites, not to alter the content of articles.
If the first part of the paragraph would have been marked differently and identifiable, I would agree with you.
But it is mixed with the rest of the text.
Removing text via regex is never safe.

- The meta description and first line of article both duplicate the article title. This is pretty much an issue with the source page.
While it's good to be able to support this better, it can be risky as well. So this would be optional to support.

You can safely give a better description that makes sense and is useful
