In the original content this is a single <p> block, it can be confusing for the reader splitting the paragraph like you do. Check my template to see the difference which I think is essential.

Sorry, but i'm not able to imagine a confused user which is overwhelmed on seeing a new paragraph instead of line break during reading an article from 2016.
