The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

From other issues similar to this, I believe the common approach is that it's optional to use images as cover when they are displayed as a side image in content, like this one. I believe it could be better to set it as cover, but I don't think that's enough to render the template as not perfect.
