Secondly, wat? Where is it stated that the description cannot end with "..."?
Stop making up nonexistent rules and read the Checklist!
"- If a short description exists in the source, it must be used for the link preview (OpenGraph descriptions, lead sections, etc.).
- If the description in the meta data (routinely) doesn’t describe the contents of the article, your template must create a description using the subtitle or lead section, first paragraph, etc."
- Is there a description in the source? - YES.
- Does the description describe the content of the article? - YES.
What is the problem? I have not violated a single point of the Checklist!
