Only in this case because it may confuse the reader!

- 1) The template author made this change because of the admin's mistake
2) It seems this site consistently uses subtitle for cover credits. I wasn't able to find any article where subtitle would be used for other content. Examples: https://telegra.ph/Maple-Credits-in-subtitle-03-28
So the issue doesn't seem critical.
Taking all of the above into consideration I will restore the template. But I highly recommend to fix it in the new template version.
