Moses/Trump + Slaves/Freedom<br><br>In the biblical account, Moses stood before a vast Red Sea that appeared impossible to cross. Behind him was bondage. Ahead of him was uncertainty, responsibility, and freedom under God’s law. Many longed for liberation, yet many also feared the burden that true freedom required.<br><br>In modern political symbolism, some Americans viewed the sea of red states in 2020 as representing a similar emotional crossing - a belief that the nation stood between two competing visions:<br><br>• centralized dependence vs. individual sovereignty,<br>• managed conformity vs. self-governance,<br>• institutional control vs. constitutional liberty.<br><br>In this allegorical framing, Trump becomes less “Moses the man” and more a symbolic vessel through which millions projected their desire to “cross over” from what they perceived as political, economic, media, or bureaucratic bondage into a renewed vision of national self-determination.<br><br>The deeper parallel is not about geography or party colors. It is about a timeless human tension:<br><br>Freedom sounds glorious -<br>until people realize freedom requires discernment,<br>responsibility,<br>courage,<br>moral restraint,<br>and self-governance.<br><br>Scripture itself shows that many who left Egypt still struggled psychologically with freedom. Some even wished to return to the certainty of bondage rather than endure the uncertainty of sovereignty.<br><br>Likewise, modern societies often wrestle with the same question:<br><br>Do people truly want liberty -<br>or merely the appearance of liberty while remaining dependent on centralized systems for security, identity, and provision?<br><br>The “Red Sea” in this metaphor therefore becomes not merely electoral symbolism, but a civilizational crossroads:<br><br>Can a people govern themselves truthfully, responsibly, and freely - <br>or will they continually trade sovereignty for comfort, fear management, and dependency?<br><br>That framing preserves the poetic and philosophical power of the analogy without making unsupported factual claims about the certified outcome of the 2020 election.<br><br>@America250 @Freedom250 @BoardOfPeace @POTUS
