It doesn't make sense to include this image if you're not able to put the needle to point at the right score: I would remove it.

Doing the needle is impossible as you cannot set the background image. Remove it worsens the IV.
In this case, since there is no title before the value 2.25 / 5, the image allows a better user experience; lets you understand the value 2.25 / 5
Beautify the graph and improve the understanding of values.
It was put by choice. In my opinion it is better that it remains
