- 1) It is possible to omit the name when there‘s no identifiable person, only the website’s ‘team’, ‘editors’, etc.
2) We will not accept issues based on absence of author names for articles in which no author can be easily identified by a regular viewing user.
"Go North East" doesn't look like a typical author name.
Also 3) Author name is required only if it is consistently presented in the source article in a clear way.
As you posted yourself in issue 2, there also are sites where images are being shown instead of text. One could parse the alt attribute... but it's not "consistently" presented in the source, so it's fine to omit.
