On the site there are videos that can be played in the <video> tag and those that can not. There is an opportunity to distinguish between them. Unsupported videos should not fall into IV

"...I notice video with missing thumbnails only on old pages(<2014), if you check same video page(mp4 version for ios devices, and flv for other devices) on https://news.sarbc.ru/main/2017/06/14/200710.html, you will find that video has normal thumbnail and working in IV editor.
To summarise: all provided videos working in telegram IV, only old video has "black screen" thumbnail. So if you mark it like @unsupported -- it is not correct, because video still playable in telegram IV page. "
