According to the "Perfect Template Checklist":

1. IV Targets: Must Generate

The template must generate Instant View pages for the relevant pages on the target website to be considered perfect.

1.1. Pages with static article-like content

* News articles
* Blog posts
* Guides
* Wiki entries
* Documentation
* Etc.

As you can see, IV pages aren't limited to "articles" at all. IV pages should be generated for all *static* article-*like* content.
