The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Issue #1

Button links missing. IV cannot into images inside links so I advice you to put link as a caption.
Pavel T.
1. Some of my templates was declined because of figcaptions containing links ("Images cant be used as links in IV (c) Adm.), so i think its not right decision.
2. Links and images in them have no specific classes/attributes to make this page unsupported, unsupporting by URL is bad way too - there may be a lot of articles with linked img.
3. Reason, because we can replace links after all images which have links is obvious, i think.

Sorry for the confusion, Pavel. Sadly, leaving those buttons as simple pictures in the IV results in a corrupted page with only half of the info present. These links are part of the essential content.

It is better to replace such buttons with links. For link text you could use the alt text when possible (not in this case). When no alt text or any other identifiable text for the link exists, it is acceptable to keep the image followed by the link, with the URL itself as the link text (as Template #11 does).

You mentioned that our admins have accepted issues on your templates that handled button links in this manner. We apologize if they were wrong. Kindly send us the links to those issues in an appeal to this one so that we can study them again.

It was very old issue that was accepted in first days of contest: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/blog.oxforddictionaries.com/template5/issue1/ , so there's no need to study it again. Actual template that was declined on this domain has its own appeal.

But if you still look for perfect templates, you can review other templates when admins decisions were very strange (sorry for offtop, it's first and last time i've sending links to other templates):

1. Cover image taken from the middle of article ($body//img[1], i suppose) and removed from article body. https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/deskmodder.de/template4/issue1/

Often its an image from second paragraph or maybe last paragraph... is it really so optional?

2. [I send this because i'm not sure that you will check 2nd template if 1st has no issue, but, i think, there is need to re-review decision on 1st template's issue]
Difficult situation at: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/almrsd.co/template8/issue1/ . All comments are insi

Thank you for your report and your thoughts.

1) Yes this is totally fine to do it like the template creator did in your mentioned issue. The checklist says:

"In all other cases, cover images are *optional*:

When the first image is several paragraphs deep into the article."

2) Removing paragraphs or divs of a site which are not labeled by any css class or in any other manner is dangerous. In the mentioned case you might be lucky with removing the right (non-essential) stuff, but in other cases you might remove essential content.
