1. Let's take a closer look at the Checklist paragraph about date and time (6.1.2). The first sentence tells us: "It [date/time] must be obtained BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE, including meta tags, etc." Even if date or time isn't shown on page but exists somewhere deep in source code, it has to be extracted.

2. Now about your answer to my previous issue. You referred to the paragraph saying "preference should be given to the time that is visible to the ordinary user". The problem is that this paragraph has nothing to do with the current situation. We're talking about the missing time which occurs only once, not about two different occurrences of publication time. It doesn't conflict with anything. There are just two dates: complete (with time) and incomplete. So you have a timestamp which is full and correct.

1 + 2 => you ought to show this timestamp.
