The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Issue #6

Slideshows shouldn't be used.
According to 6.2.3 "EXCEPTION! Slideshows must not be used:" "When the article consists entirely of a slideshow (and its caption/DESCRIPTION)".
This instant view page template handles it better

sigh... I've already added handling of pages with no text content at all.
If you think it is not ENOUGH content to make the gallery into slideshow, then how much text would you consider enough? What would be the threshold? And how one can figure it out? By counting paragraphs/words/letters?
For me, this a an edge case.

Admins, please tell us, how should we determine how much content is enough for a gallery to be a slideshow?

Everything depends on each site. If there is no content between the images, and the initial content is a simple description or a single paragraph, it should not be a slideshow. In summary: if the main purpose of that page is the images, it should not be a slideshow.
