Telegrams IVs use GMT timezone.
This site works in GMT+1 (Nigeria timezone, timezone in article publish time in meta tag)
Works as intended.

PS Today site's articles contain gmt+1 time in the meta tag and display published time at article in local timezone. Old meta tags are GMT 0.

Since site is about Nigeria news, Nigeria is GMT+1 and in tg IV rules it says to take displayed time as source of truth instead ones in meta, im converting old ones as gmt+1 too ignoring meta tag.
