I have written a ready code that gets the @href of the parent <a> tag and sets that link to the child img's @src (Only if its image file link with image extension).
I used to use this code on all my templates but since its not critical I have disabled it (Another reason is that I didn't want to risk messing up other images).
Again, its not critical. That's how its displayed in the page.
and getting the link from parent <a> tag is not that reliable method.
