The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

According new Template Checklist 2.2 : if meta data is empty or contains site logo cover photo must be used in preview. It's not a cover but there are a media article with photo, so you can take photo from article, not logo.
