- Yes, it is indeed one quote, but my variant does not really affect readability and does not misslead reader. Is concating quotes losing newlines like my opponen did is better?

- It is optional to convert such paragraphs of the original article into quotes, and if such conversion is to be done, then it needs to be done well enough. The template converts these paragraphs into separate blockquotes, which can be considered an issue in itself. However, this template also does not support this <blockquote> method for other similar pages.

These pages do not have their <em> converted to <blockquote>. Not only that, the multiple paragraphs of <em> are not supported as well, the formatting is lost.
Considering this, it is not possible to restore this template to the contest.
