These thumbnails are part of the gallery navigation. They supposed to be links themselves, not images with links. In this case, one have to open an image in full size, and then tap the link to go to desired page. This is a bad UX.

- They are images with links, just like in the original. By tapping it you go to the relative gallery page where you can view the image in full and read the associated caption. Bad UX is missing controls and misplaced/removed parts. Nothing missing/misplaced/rmeoved here.
