Issue #2
- werre our
- I even do not sure that it is a single author)
I think that we already has standard auto-generated (i believe) form of displaying the author:
https://www.progamer.ru/esports/mag/progamers-retire.htm
And I believe it works quite well.
What you offer is text analysis, but this require other instruments, not Xpath. What you offer will always lead to bugs like this one:
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/progamer.ru/template14/issue1/
And even if you overcome all of them (which seems to be quite difficult since you need to check every article) tomorrow may be an article which will cause new. It is user added content in a free form, you shouldn't process it automatically.
- Declined by admin
- The template creator has a point, it is acceptable not to parse the author names that have no consistent format.
- Type of issue
- IV page is missing essential content

But we can support what's possible.
Originally, I was thinking the same as you outlined in the response. But then I saw people do it all over the contest, and it gets accepted.
And in practice you can do it quite successfully, as it turned out, to the extent of the checklist's wording: "Author name is required only if it is presented in the source article in a clear way (at the top of the page, at the very end of the text, in the meta tags etc.)"
