I'm sorry, but this is how GIPHY embed works.
If you press share button in this widget it would generate same code with "via GIPHY" text after it.
This is not really a figcaption, it doesn't serve any meaning describing the gif, it's just always same text with link to page on GIPHY.

It's acceptable to not have this as figcaption.
