1. I hold that, as the promotion video obscures the cover only in part of the cases, it is an essential part of content and should not be lost.
2. The site can change its promotion campaign, remove the promotions or rotate them, and the covers would return on their place—but not in your template.
(To compensate for cases when the cover image is duplicated in the first paragraph, you can compare their paths and remove the duplicate.)
