This site has dedicated block for related articles, 'Artículos Relacionados', which is converted to <related> here.
It's not a regular thing for this website to include generic related articles in-text. So I assume this format is intentional.
IMO, in this case it's okay to leave them as is, because it closely matches the source and doesn't break formatting of the outer text, like happens with other sites.
