Ok. Then why do you turn these <em>s into <figcaption>s? They don't have any identification signs either.

On this site, often photos with captions are listed as:

<p>
<a>
<img>
<a>
<em></em>
<p>

And when there is a text after the link that is not identified in any way, I am not sure that it can be a figcaption.
