Issue #1
- chuchu
- "replaced the caption text" - what text? Source page not contain caption for this image. I just preserved a link.

- Actually, this issue should be considered valid. The website indeed consistently presents important information in the alt attribute of the pictures, much better to use that. Template #5 is doing a better job here.
But more importantly, template #4 has another issue and will have to be rejected anyway.

- This is a list of articles:

No IV should be generated. Template #5 is doing this.

- Okay.
"Template #5 is doing a better job here" - disagreed.

No alt attribute - link is missing.

Link is missing maybe because there is already caption. And caption = alt attr. And caption already has some link. So best way is to add own link text.

- Thank you for the investigation. Due to lack of clear instructions in the checklist re: image links, we think this issue is not serious enough to leave a domain without a winning template. Preserving alt info is more important than the links, so template #5 is not ideal but, indeed, better.
Sorry about that. Results are coming very soon!

- There appears to be some confusion regarding the reason why this template was rejected. The main reason is that it generates IVs for dynamic lists of articles (a Grade 2 issue according to this clarification: https://t.me/IVcontest/19)

This issue was not submitted separately and is instead mentioned in a comment above.
As for the missing image links, discussed in T5i1 (http://bit.ly/2vf8UkQ), our admin was indeed inconsistent with our previous decisions. Losing image links in some cases is a Grade 4 issue and is enough to reject a template. By contrast, missing the alt text like T4 does is optional according to the checklist. To make this clear from the first glance, this issue will be declined and another one created for the actual Grade 2 problem.
We apologize for the confusion and thank everyone for cooperation.

Img's alt attribute should be used.
