Link preview is taken from <meta> tags and is not duplicated title btw (the text itself is different).

But if we assume that I must handle the situation when webmaster put the same content in title and description <meta> tags, what is correct solution? Simply remove description or use first paragraph text? I don't see any notes about such situation in checklist
