As I use a solution to get better image quality required in the checklist, the image size in this case is 6100x4000 which the iv editor won't fetch as it's probably >5MB (check that the image url is fully available). According to the rules getting high resolution images is not a criticial like getting low of them.
Here is what I achieve with this solution:

The template obtains original resolution by modifying src value, that is unacceptable because it may lead to such unpredictable results. Especially since IV 2.1 supports srcset that is available in the source:

I disagree with the resolution as you don't have any evidence of "unpredictable results". The srcset clearly shows that there's a patron -[0-9]x[0-9] used as a parameter to regulate the image resolution.
