- Visually it's easy to see this as a caption, but there is nothing in html to sugest they are related.
Adjusting the filter to this kind of specificity would lead to two things: False positives and the need to adjust the filter to every whim of the editors

- It's important that captions are attached to their corresponding media. Otherwise, depending on viewing device, the captions may be split from their media.
It seems that for captions on this domain across various articles, the image is consistently contained within a span.img-fc, and the caption itself is the span.desc within span.img-fc.
