- Looks like the exception, not the rule.
There is always an image in this block.
All articles on the whole site.
Rather, an editor’s mistake than a template error.
I looked at an examples and my case is different.
sci-news.com - blank counter image
katun24.ru - blank Bitrix CRM widget image
In both cases, it breaks the view on the device.
Here is a normal image, just a little wrong inserted on the site.

The image is also used as a preview for social networks.

Mohit Loshali is an expert in his field, but not in filling out articles.
But luckily there is now an Instant View.
So everything looks good.

Actually, I don't know why the cover image for this article has width="1" and height="1". Probably website developer has chosen this way to hide the cover image in browser when the author wants hide the cover.
But what is most evident is that this image is hidden in the original view and your template displays a hidden(1x1) element to IV user. It's not correct and we should remove 1x1 images because certainly they are hidden in the original. (And maybe they have 404 src)
