the image exists, and can be easily corrected with the functions available to IV.
I do not understand how it can be reported as an issue

- It is hard to say for this specific case.
Although it would be safe to leave the original source image URL as the source page had it. Since, if for some reason, a non-duplicate image was used by source page and a template changed the image to a different image, that could potentially lead to generating a corrupted IV.
