In my defense to the previously accepted issue (see https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/theonion.com/template6/issue1/ ), I strongly believe these slideshows should not really be represented as slideshows in IV.

a) In this case, the caption is very large. The first caption has 48 words, which are hard to fit on the slide's caption section of only about 3 lines. The text is also a bit harder to read on some images because of the reduced contrast. None of these problems exist in a non-slideshow version.

b) Non-slideshows reduce the need for horizontal swiping. The scrolling is more natural when the pictures are disposed vertically, especially considering IV even has a scroll progress indicator.
