- Photo captions on this site are pretty inconsistent. On this page it seems kinda OK, <img> in <em>. But usually this is not the case.
Captions here have no classes, no id's, no consistent place at all. Pictures may be nested in other pictures caption elements. They can be separeted by few breaklines. Differently placed images and captions can be found in one article even.
So not only this is not a valid issue, but I also advice you not to set figcaptions on this site - set it only for slideshow or/and covers, if you find them and if they are set with consistency in mind. You may set captions wrong, delete content, set captions partly and so on. It is dangerous to do so.
