- This site often place polls at the article. In most cases this is not an essential content:

So I think marking it unsupported is a bad idea since we have no reliable way to check essentiality of polls.
BTW: "Checklist 6.4.3 Auxiliary widgets" mention this case:
Some pages include unsupported widgets that are not essential for the understanding of the article.
...
Some websites include “And what would you do?” votes at the end of some of their articles to increase user engagement.
