- Please note the "or" part. I strongly believe both variants are equally acceptable. I have tested the IV template on mobile and I see no issues with the captions whatsoever.

- Yes, using captions is also acceptable in this case (the OR in the checklist), especially since more elaborate formatting is used for photographer name and photo counter. The result looks nice.

If the article uses images/videos/GIFs with captions as the main medium, those images should not be presented as a slideshow (e.g.: travel blogs that show many photos with captions, step-by-step crafting guides, cooking recipes, etc.). Use images with captions (or even plain PARAGRAPH text) following one another.

In this case, we have a long text and this is often found. We can by the rules and for better readability, it is better to display this as a paragraph. Because in caption it looks bad and unreadable.
And it's probably better to separate the last photo and text by a <hr> so that the text does not merge.
