Your template uses person name as title (same as mine) — though it isn't stated anywhere that this is article title. It's just logical to use person name as title since it's not clearly stated.
So I don't see a problem in using subtitile that complements title by describing what kind of profession person has. It's short, nice and logical.

A subtitle has clear semantic meaning and therefore shouldn't be used just for decoration.
