I said that images without the size suffix may vary from image with this suffix, so just cutting size suffix from image may be unsafe.

Maybe 225x225 images looks a little blurry, especially on tablets, but anyway we cant display full gallery in article with all captions and user will click on link to gallery to see other images (as on original site). This slideshow is small, but it just a preview not full slideshow (also as on original site).
In case if we decide to skip generating IV for pages with same slideshow we lose many arti
