Emily Jane Brontë (30 July 1818 – 19 December 1848), one of the Brontë sisters, was an English novelist and poet, sister of Charlotte and Anne Brontë. She is most famous for her only novel, Wuthering Heights. She wrote under the pen name Ellis Bell.
