Template's author remove blockquote from the site, but in a strange way, because other alternative blockquotes are still in places, but this one is plain text. More over, it contains unneeded white spaces

- Blockquote here is like decorative element without quote's functions. To display this article correct i prefer to change blockquote with images to separated with <hr>'s block. Your method will crash blockquotes with only one image & generate other similar problems.

- Sorry, but what is a reason of declininig? As i said, its only one method to keep all information from blockquotes with images. Look, for example, at the part of text which starts with "Дальше всё выглядит точно так же, как и в файловом варианте" in winning template.

- Template 13's overall method of handling images nested in blockquotes is good. Although, that template's code has a bug where if there's text after the last image, that image will be shown out of place.
Template 13 shows that it's possible for nested images within blockquotes to be supported well. The blockquotes themselves don't need to be removed, and blockquote formatting can be preserved.
In contrast, if all blockquotes with nested images have their blockquote formatting removed, without converting to another form of formatting to indicate quoted content, then an article with an actual quote + nested image would lose its context for the reader.
Also, this template 12, along with template 13, both have an issue with not supporting double linebreaks in blockquotes. This causes long blockquotes to look like extremely long paragraphs.
Since no template could parse this website perfectly, this domain will have no winners in the first contest.
