The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Issue #1

I read your explanation, but you did not convince me. You are missing the slideshow and here is why I think you're wrong:
1. You were referring to this single article. You can't base your argument on the single article when doing a template, because each time they will use the slideshow, you won't have one and you don't know what will be below future sliders.
2. Your argument that captions are too complex here is also wrong, my template handles that pretty well.
3. You argument that there is no content below is also wrong, there is video down below.

Also this: "Slideshows are required only if the source article shows several photos or other media as a slideshow or gallery."
https://instantview.telegram.org/checklist#6-2-3-galleries-and-slideshows
But I think you know this, you won a lot already (which is quite impressive btw, if you are one person and not a team).

Not convinced, huh
Ok, I'll try to be more clear.

1. This is not exactly a regular inline slideshow, it opens full-page.
2. Each slide has a section-like structure and conveys more info than just an image with caption:
a) an image with an actual caption to the left
b) a header and multi paragraph text to the right

Obviously, I wasn't considering just one page when implementing this. Your template may fit slide text on for this page as captions (thought I don't agree that it's ideal), but take a look at this page for example:

Each slide here has one or two lengthy paragraphs of text.
Declined by admin
Since these slides might contain a lot of content, it's acceptable to not format the gallery as a slideshow for readability.
