The Instant View Editor uses a three-column layout, so you really want to use it on a desktop screen that's wide enough. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There are cases where it is necessary to display the header. See for example here: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/zeit.de/template34/issue1/

I can't detect when it's necessary and when it isn't, so it's better to have it all the time rather than never in case it's important.
