LOL. These are separate paragraphs, you can check the code. Outside of blockquotes, IV automatically creates whitespace between <p>'s, no matter if there is such styling on the site or not. And I believe, this is good, because it helps readability.

And I saw a template rejected for not using whitespace even where there is no whitespace in the original article: https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/donegalnow.com/template12/issue1/.
