As a note though, even if a cover caption duplicates the article title, removing captions for all cover images would lose essential content for articles where the cover caption does not duplicate the title.
So if it's not possible to guarantee that essential content in captions would not be lost, then it's better to support cover captions even if they duplicate the title.
