That image is non-existent in original article and should be removed. They use it for tracking and are always width="1" and height="1".

Also they use it quite regularly, if you search for it you will find more of those.

Absolutely not a tracking image. The path points to the typical wordpress content folder (/wp-content/upload/...). Tracking images usually point to a script.

The domain www.hdwzone.com no longer works (I get a DNS error when I try to view the image). They probably reduced the size of the image to 1x1 in an attempt to hide the empty space and/or the missing media icon.

Cybeout was Hdwzone a while ago, that's why hdwzone isn't accessible anymore. I don't accept the issue, since we can't say for sure, whether that was tracking image or not. There is no such image in most recent articles.
