Cover image has been duplicated. It appears again in the content area of the article. If both the images are same, it should either be on cover or in the content of the article

The reason - the source page contains 3 similar images - one declared in meta tag, one declared as cover and one declared somewhere inside text. 2 of these images are also visible and even look differently (one of them is blurred and it seems IV preview can't display this blur but clearly displays this image). So it is impossible to differ them because they have different urls.
And finally you say that other templates handle this url better? Why? They all skip the cover image at all
