- adevarul.ro uses 627x0 size for images site-wide. I could resize them to 4k if I wanted to, it is technically possible. But I set to to what the size uses, highest resolution available in the source, which user sees. Thus I don't consider this issue valid.

The images from slideshow can have a better resolution.
For instance the first slide of the highlighted slideshow has a picture with the resolution of 627x470 pixels, while my template uses a 800x600 version.
These images aren't artificially resized to a larger size. This can be proved by downloading the image from this template and comparing with the image from my template. The resolution difference is obvious in matter of details.
