Issue #2
- Rochelle
- I included the "GALLERY" slideshow caption because on other pages, there is a link that goes with it to view the gallery as a separate page, as seen in this article: https://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/gallery-calgary-copes-with-monster-autumn-storm. This is important to include in case the viewer wants to look at the slideshow separately. "GALLERY" tells the viewer what the link is. It is not rudimentary.
I thought the best place to put this information was as a figcaption because it is information that goes with the slideshow figure. Figcaptions always go below the figure in IV, so the fact that it is above the slideshow in the original article doesn't matter.
This particular article does not include the link to the slideshow, but that doesn't mean it needs to be removed. "GALLERY:" still shows up on the original article without the link.

- Since it's technically possible to check whether a caption has a link, the text should be removed when there is no link

In the original article, "GALLERY:" was a heading. As a figure caption, it is not relevant.
Also, the "GALLERY:" ends with a colon character, which means the target contents will follow below. But in this case the target contents is above it.
