- My template handles that link suggested by you fine, and I think this is just a pretty unique case for this site: just a random small image.
As for your link - in that case like 70% of the screen are occupied by 2 pretty similar logo images.
Moreover (at least in my opinion; I don't claim I don't break the rules here) it doesn't really matter a lot where to put this picture: under or below the title. It has a white background and looks nicely as a cover.
And the last thing, this is more an introductory image for this article, so it wound't ruin the article reading experience.
