Remove habracut
Identical issue was accepted for habrahabr.ru
Declined by admin
It is fine to keep the anchor, it isn't visible and may be useful for links like https://geektimes.ru/company/wayray/blog/289401#habracut
The issue for habrahabr was accepted by mistake, the verdict is reverted now. Sorry for the confusion.
Template #20 Issue #1

yep
☄️
Geektimes' "articles" are distinctive custom styled in contrast to regular posts. It doesn't seem to be a good match for IV.

I insist that IV for this kind of pages better not be generated. A decision on identical issue for habrahabr.ru (twin website): https://goo.gl/jh7uCS

For example, in this particular case the issue creator's template displays pullquotes as headers, also image captions are missing.

On another page slideshows are missing: https://goo.gl/UfReza
(they are slideshows on the original page, hence required to be slideshows)

https://goo.gl/gRbmpJ
More missing captions, sticky-header navigation is not removed.

These pages are doomed to cause such issues because they are custom-made without a regular structure.

Thank you for pointing these cases out, you make some good points.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to restore template 20 back to the contest because it contains the same issue as this:

Template #28 Issue #1
Jun 2, 2017
The cover in IV is obtained from the cover of the "Company Blog", which are identical in each article and unsuitable. It is necessary to ignore it. A suitable cover for an article is the second image.

Current cover is cover in original page, why should it not be cover in IV?
Anyway second image can't be used as cover, because it's placed after paragraph.
Declined by admin
It is acceptable to use this image as a cover. Its caption isn't supported, but there's already a separate issue about it.

Template #34 Issue #1

There is not reason to make IV for this 2 pages
There are unsupported elements - table, some markup with colored text (and it's important for this documentation) etc...

By the way I'm not sure we need IV for doc pages, or it's optional

P.S. My template supports other doc pages :)

Template #34 Issue #2

These captions should be figcaptions.

It's important that captions are attached to their corresponding media, otherwise depending on viewing client, captions may be split from their media.

Template #34 Issue #3

Multiple slideshows not supported.

These are slideshows within the original article, so they should be supported in IV.

Template #34 Issue #4

The captions, blockquotes, and surrounding text are all merged into a single paragraph.

Formatting is significantly lost.

Template #36 Issue #3

These elements are all merged into a single paragraph.

If these spoiler elements cannot be supported well, then it is better to not generate an IV than to show a user a corrupted IV.
Template #37 Issue #1

Unnecessary cover image. Missing essential content (missing image) in the article context.
