Original telegram parser reasonably adds only one <br> http://prntscr.com/mqgqub
2. Tehnically this is not wrong to keep Read also, dividing blockquote as in source.
But do you think, this is not distructing user from reading article?
ps. I clearly know, this is minor issues.
