- It's better to set an image_url to a photo in actual article body than to set generic site logo as image_url.
Judging by your question, there's another question. How to proceed in this situation?
When there are no images on the page, but imoji in instagram. But the meta tags have an acceptable picture for this page.
If you act as recommended by the administrator, then IV will have a less acceptable picture than is available in the meta tags

Thumbnail for link preview must be shown if a suitable image or document exists in the source.
If image_url from meta tag is just a general site logo, a more relevant one should be set from article.
