it does seem indeed that the page contains a local video that can be obtained through regular expressions or similar. The problem is that most of the videos on this website are actually hosted on a CDN, thus rendering the algorithm useless because of the Same-Origin Policy.
The regulations specify that an element must be marked as @unsupported, but the element itself is created solely through JavaScript. Blacklisting the scripts might involve that some pages would not render despite containing no video at all, because the script was loaded.
